"Pelican House" - Palm Beach, FL Residence
Winner of the 2015 Ballinger Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation
Originally designed by Palm Beach Society Architect Clarence Mack in 1959, this grand estate dubbed "Pelican House" by its owners because of it's proximity to Bingham Island Audubon Preserve sits on the Intracoastal Waterway just one block South of Mar-a-Lago Club and across South Ocean Blvd from the Bath & Tennis Club. Renovations to the home included the addition of a 1,000 sq ft covered loggia, a complete restoration of the buildings exterior preserving Mack's original Regency Style facade, and complete renovation of 6,000 sq ft of interior space . The home has since been added to the list of Landmarked Historical Homes of Palm Beach.
